Dave's Pro Pik Um Rules
1. Pick one NFL football team
each week to win their respected game. Email picks to davesnflpicks@yahoo.com before
deadlines
2. If your team wins you
advance to the next week and you will pick a different team
3. If your team does not win
you are out of the pool
3b. If your
team does not play a game for any unforeseen reason (for ex. but not limited
to: weather, power outage, travel, covid, etc…) before the start of the
following weeks games, it is not a win therefore you are out.
4. If by chance your team ties,
it is not a win and you are out of the pool
5. ***ONCE YOU PICK AN NFL TEAM
-YOU MAY NOT EVER PICK THAT PARTICULAR NFL TEAM AGAIN***
5b. If you do pick a team for the 2nd time it
is considered a loss
6. It is $20 per entry to join
the pool. You must be a friend of Dave or a friend of a friend of Daves and 18
yrs old or older
6b. You must have your balance paid before you
are allowed to make your week 4 pick. If you have not paid your entries by then
you will not be allowed to pick for week 4 and therefore not a pick which will
automatically eliminate you from the pool. No exceptions and No excuses (That’s
almost month to pay your bill. Cmon Man)
6c. If entered into Pool 2 which starts in NFLWeek 6 You must have your entire
balance paid before you are allowed to make your week 9 pick. If you have not
paid your entries by then you will not be allowed to pick for week 9 IN EITHER POOL and therefore not a pick which will automatically
eliminate you from BOTH pools. No exceptions and No excuses. Pay your
Bill!!! (That’s almost a month to pay your bill. Cmon Man)
- Pool 2 has absolutely nothing to do with Pool 1 other than payment.

an account with Paypal it only takes a few minutes to send and receive the
money.) MAKE SURE YOU USE THE “Send money to family and friends” option or
Paypal will take a cut and you will not be paid in full.

7b. In week 6 only and Pool 2
only – If you win or lose your 1st game (or the Thursday game on
Oct. 10 2024) you may (for another $20) pick any Sunday game. If you win or
lose that one you may pik (for another $20) the MNF game on Oct. 14th and start
from scratch. Pool 2 dates and times subject to change or be eliminated.
8. Your pick or change for the
week must be e-mailed by 9:59 p.m. CST (or earlier) the day before the football game
(I.E. if you want to pick a game that is being played on a Thursday, your pick must be in by
9:59 p.m.
CST Wednesday evening.) If you want a Sunday game, you may wait til
Saturday 9:59
p.m. CST to e-mail your pick. If you forget to make a pick before
Saturday 9:59
p.m. CST you must pick the Monday Night Football game again before 9:59 p.m. CST
Sunday.
8b. You may change your picks up to the deadline. If you enter a pick and
the deadline passes for that game then you must stay with that pick. For
example: If you pick a Thursday night game and then realize on Thursday morning
that you have already chosen that team, you may not make changes after the
deadline has passed. All picks are posted to the internet. I cannot sit at home
all day and wait for changes. If you pick a Sunday game and then realize on
Thursday morning that you have already chosen that team you may resubmit a
different team as long as it is in before the Saturday deadline.
9. If you forget to pick or
your pick is late and past the last deadline for the week, it is not considered
a pick for the week therefore a team was not chosen and you are out of the
pool. If your Thursday or Sunday pick is late it is not considered a pick however
you may still pick a future game as long as it is before the deadline.
10.
Last as long as
you can - sole survivor wins the cash!!!!$$$$$$$
10b. If there are 8 or more
people left in the pool and everyone in the pool gets knocked out in the same
week, they will automatically be reinstated to pick the following week. Their
team will be counted as a team used and may not pick them again.
10c. If there are 2 to 7 entries
left in the pool and everyone in the pool gets knocked out in the same week,
The pool will be over and the pot will be divided by as many line entries that
were involved.
11.
If more than
one person makes it all the way to week 18, the remaining players must rank ALL
16 NFL games for that week. Deadline is 9:59 pm the day before the first game
of the final week. Your most confident pick will be in your 16-point slot but
cannot be a team that you have already chosen during the pool. It may look
something like this.
16. Rams-------This team cannot have been picked
during the first 17 weeks
15. San Fran (If SF wins you get 15 pts)
14 Green Bay (If GB wins you get 14 pts)
13. Dallas (If Dallas wins you get 13 pts) and so on
12. Denver
11. Oakland
10. Miami-------And so on til you rank your least confident pick in the 1-point slot. The person with the most accumulated points will win the cash.
11b. If your 16 point team does not win their game, you are out and you don’t get to count the other games. If everybody’s 16 point team loses, then everyone will get to count their rankings to determine the winner. If there is still a tie the money will be divided among those teams.
11.b.1. In each Pool the payout system will be as followed. IF and only IF multiple teams make it THROUGH week 18 the payouts will be as follows:
2nd Place: $500* (with at least $5000 in pot) (If 2 or more make it THROUGH week 18)(If less than $5000 in pot then 10%)(minimum $100)
3rd Place: $200* (with at least $5000 in pot) (If 3 or more make it THROUGH week 18) (If less than $5000 in pot then 4%)(minimum $100)
4th Place: 1 free entry into Pool 1 2025 (If 4 or more make it to week 18)
5th Place: 1 free entry into Pool 1 2025 (If 5 or more make it to week 18)
6th Place: 1 free entry into Pool 1 2025 (If 6 or more make it to week 18)

Place: The remaining pot

You must win your 16 point game to be considered for 2nd or 3rd
place. I will still offer up to 3 free entries into next years Pool based on
week 18 results and if you don’t win prize money.
12. This is an E-Mail only pool.
Do not call your pick in unless you have a good excuse. My E-Mail is davesnflpicks@yahoo.com which you
should already have. My cell # is 618-791-2468. My cell collects time and date
of calls.
13. If I do not receive your
pick via email prior to the entry deadline, regardless of the reason (computer
isn't working, server is down, email isn't working or any other electronic
mishap), per rules 8 & 9 you are out of the pool. (Phone #
is above in rule 12)If you are notified that your email delivery failed for a
Sunday game pick, per rule 8 you can still attempt to get in a pick for the
Monday Night game as long as you meet the 9:59 p.m. CST Sunday night deadline.
13b. ALL PIKS WILL BE ON THE WEBSITE PRIOR TO
KICKOFF!!!!!!

For every 40
entries, I am going to take 1 free entry for myself. (Pretty cheap labor for
all the work)
15.
100% of all monies
received up to $1000 will be awarded in prize money. Monies received between
and including $1010 and $1200 will be donated to the Stix For Kids/Jr. Golf
League charity. Monies over $1200 will be awarded in prize money. Web hosting
for 2021, 22, and 2023 is $40 and domain name is currently $20 per year. For a
$60 total which will be taken out of Pool 1. My renewal date for web hosting is
2024 which they currently state will be $90 per year just for hosting. I will
try to get a deal when the time comes.
